What if your imagination didn’t listen? When twelve-year-old Laz discovers a glowing egg in Memorial Park, his imagination screams dragon egg. What hatches is a free-range chicken he names Dragon, who arrives whenever Laz’s imagination needs a boost.

Things get stranger when an older boy teaches Laz his stuffed animals can become heroes. His nunchuck-wielding rabbit Nash Warbunny, part warrior and part wisecracker, bursts to life with advice on everything from justice to baseball. But when Dragon and Nash square off like two sides of Laz at war, the seams between imagination and reality begin to split.
